What Toothbrush Should I Use?
What type of toothbrush to use, is a question many of us ask ourselves whilst staring at the mammoth wall of toothbrushes in the supermarket.
Large head, small head, extra-soft, soft, medium, hard bristles, 360, tongue cleaner, and the list goes on.
I must admit there’s A LOT to choose from!
Advice from a dental professional. Everyone should opt for a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Many of us may assume we should use a hard bristle toothbrush to scrub our teeth, although the truth is the hard brushes could really damage our gums and enamel.
Depending on the condition of your teeth, we may recommend you to use extra-soft bristle toothbrushes. Unless told otherwise best to stick with soft brushes.
When you have hard calculus build-up that doesn’t flick off with your brush it best for a professional to remove it for you.
